2025 Impact Report - More Than Meals: Food, Housing, Hope

At nourish.NJ, we know that hunger is never just about food.

It is about being unseen, unheard, and unsure of what tomorrow will bring. Every day, our team, volunteers, and partners show up to meet our neighbors where they are, with dignity, compassion, and a commitment to walk alongside them toward stability.

Today, we are proud to share our 2025 Impact Report, highlighting the incredible work made possible by the generosity of our community.

A Year of Meaningful Impact

Thanks to our supporters, volunteers, and partners, nourish.NJ provided 526,000 meals in 2025, helping ensure that thousands of Morris County residents had access to nutritious food and compassionate support.

That impact included:

  • 137,000 meals prepared in our kitchen and served in Dover and Morristown

  • 27,000 Rise & Shine Breakfast Bags providing vital nutrition and encouragement

  • 12,500 meals delivered to seniors, students, and neighbors without transportation

  • 362,000 fresh meals distributed through our free farmers’ markets

Each meal represents more than nourishment. It represents connection, trust, and the first step toward stability.

More Than Food

While meals are where many journeys begin at nourish.NJ, they are only the starting point.

Our Outreach Team works one-on-one with neighbors to connect them with the resources they need to move forward. In 2025 alone, more than 1,000 individuals and families received support navigating services such as public benefits applications, employment assistance, health referrals, and financial guidance.

These services help address the root causes of hunger. Lasting solutions require more than emergency relief.

Building Community Through Partnership

nourish.NJ’s work is strengthened by collaboration. Throughout the year, nonprofit partners provided more than 85 on-site visits, bringing critical services directly to our neighbors in a place where they already feel safe and supported.

Together, we are creating a coordinated network of care that helps people move from crisis toward stability.

Volunteers at the Heart of the Mission

None of this work would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers.

In 2025, volunteers contributed:

  • 7,400 volunteer shifts

  • 14,000 volunteer hours

  • Over $320,000 in service value

From preparing meals to welcoming guests, volunteers help create the warm and inclusive environment that defines nourish.NJ.

As one volunteer shared:

“It’s not just a place to get a warm meal. It’s a true community.”

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on the past year, we are deeply grateful for everyone who makes this work possible. This includes donors, volunteers, partners, and neighbors who believe in a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Together, we are addressing hunger and its root causes across Morris County.

At nourish.NJ, we believe no one should face life’s hardest moments alone.
