Morris County, NJ — nourish.NJ is proud to announce that their CEO, Terry Connolly, has been appointed to the Transition Advisory Task Force established by Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill and Lieutenant Governor-elect Dale Caldwell. This interdisciplinary task force brings together leaders from business, nonprofit, labor, healthcare, education, environment, and other key sectors across New Jersey. (nj.gov)

nourish.NJ provides Morris County's most comprehensive approach to addressing hunger and its root causes by providing healthy meals, access to housing resources, employment assistance, and critical support services free of charge, in a safe and welcoming environment. As CEO, Connolly has guided the organization with dedication and vision, working collaboratively with community partners, local governments, and advocates to deliver on its mission.
In accepting the appointment, Connolly said: “I am honored to lend the experience of nourish.NJ and the voice of communities confronting food insecurity to this important transition. As New Jersey charts its course under Governor-elect Sherrill’s leadership, I look forward to contributing to policies that ensure affordability, equity, and opportunity for all residents.”
The Task Force will provide strategic input to the administration’s newly formed Action Teams and inform key policy decisions in the months leading up to inauguration. With a diverse and broad membership, the Task Force represents voices from across New Jersey, from small business owners and veterans to nonprofit leaders and community advocates. (nj.gov)
